Welcome to Istiqamat! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the Istiqamat App and Website. By accessing this app, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Istiqamat if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. The Service

Istiqamat is a gamified habit-tracking platform that allows users to create habits, join challenges, track progress, and interact with other users. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

2. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use this app.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
• You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.

3. Acceptable Use and Conduct

You agree not to use the app in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the app or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the app. You must not use the app in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.

When participating in group challenges or using the chat features, you agree to treat other users with respect. Harassment, hate speech, spamming, and sharing inappropriate content will result in immediate account termination.

4. User-Generated Content

In these terms and conditions, "your user content" means material (including without limitation text, images, audio material, video material) that you submit to this app. You grant to us a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute your user content in any existing or future media for the purpose of operating the app.

Your user content must not be illegal or unlawful, must not infringe any third party's legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action against you or us.

5. End-User License Agreement (EULA) and User Safety

By using Istiqamat, you agree to this End-User License Agreement (EULA). We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable, abusive, or harmful content and behaviors.

• Objectionable Content: You must not post, upload, or share any content that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, harassing, obscene, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable.
• Abusive Behavior: You must not harass, abuse, bully, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Content Moderation: We employ automated and manual moderation tools. We reserve the right to review, edit, or delete any user-generated content at our sole discretion.
• Reporting & Blocking: If you encounter any content or user violating these terms, you can report the content directly using the "Report" feature in the message context menu, or block the user via their profile.
• Moderation Action: Our moderation team will review all reported content and users within 24 hours. Upon finding a violation, we will take immediate action, which may include removing the content, suspending the offending user, or permanently terminating the user's account.

6. Subscription, Automatic Renewal, and Cancellation Policy

Certain premium features of Istiqamat are offered through recurring auto-renewable subscriptions (such as Monthly and Yearly Premium plans) or one-time purchases. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable recurring fees until cancelled.

• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly or yearly) using your designated primary payment card, unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
• Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly within the app settings. When you cancel, auto-renewal will be turned off immediately for subsequent billing cycles. Your premium benefits and access will remain fully active without interruption for the remaining duration of your current paid billing period (e.g., if you purchase a monthly plan on September 1 and cancel on September 16, your premium access continues until October 1, and your card will not be charged in October).
• Strict No-Refund Policy: All subscription payments, one-time fees, and challenge entry charges are non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds, partial credits, or compensation for any unused days or remaining time within an active billing period upon cancellation.
• Payment Cards: You may link multiple payment cards in your account and designate one primary card for automatic billing. At least one payment card must remain linked to your account.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Istiqamat, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this app. Istiqamat shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this app.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
